Here's my prom dress! Mom and I made it over the past couple weeks. It's taken a loooong time but it turned out pretty well. There are still a few finishing touches to do but you can get the idea!
What could I make with a bunch of Steve's old boxers? ;)
I saw (I think on Craftster) a skirt made with the sleeves of men's shirts. They opened them up down the seam and used the cuffs as the waistband. With the widening of the sleeve up to the shoulder it made a natural flare in the skirt. Google it, it may be your next project in (wo)menswear!
