Well, the only way to do it sometimes is to close your eyes and jump in with both feet and hope the water is deep enough (or in my case, not too deep). I booked my tickets to Argentina about ten minutes ago. I'll be leaving Ottawa at 15:00 on the 2nd of November and returning on the 6th of December. It's another 20 hour flight each way between Toronto and Buenos Aires.

I bought a product called Instant Immersion Spanish Lessons on ebay that I'll rip to minidiscs so I can carry them with me from now until November. Ya, I know the no smile rule. Its really easy for me to get a passport done though. I'm a five minute walk from the passport office and they have a ten day turn around so no biggie. What does a terrorist look like Mom? Terrorists are unshaven? I think you're maybe watching too much Faux News. :) No definite plans yet except a few days in BA. I'd like to go right down to the bottom of the country and peek around but I need to do some research first to decide how to go about it. Yes, Antarctica is next and I'll have visited all seven continents. :)
I would love that too. I'm not sure if I will be able to make it to Peru but from what I have read a lot of people travel all around South America rather than just one country. I'll be looking into the visa requirements just in case I can do that. Still, it would make a good excuse to go back.
