Wanna See Where We Live? Where You Live Too!!!
I'm not sure if you've tried Google Maps yet but you should! Type an address in the search bar and it will take you to a map, click on the Satellite link in the upper right corner of the page and it will show you a satellite image of the location. You can zoom in and out and drag your mouse around the image to see the rest of the photo. Here's our place. Never been to Parliament Hill? How about Foster City? Try it out. Not all areas have the same high resolution images but it is cool just the same.

This thing is so cool!!!! I zoomed in 5 or 6 more times and could pick out Dawn and David's house, as well as the boat launch/dog park where we put the canoe into the lagoon and paddled over to the Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream! What a cool site.
What I thought was cool was the layers of satellite photography. If you start at Parliament Hill and drag the mouse to follow the Ottawa River you will come to a place where the photos change from ones taken in the summer to ones taken in the fall. It's very cool!
