Disposal

What's the recommended method of disposal for old cd's? I have a mountain of old technet and software cd's I would like to get rid of but don't want to burden the local landfill with yet more plastic and metal. Any thoughts on what I should be doing with this stuff?

warm them up with a blowdrier, cut them into little pieces, and make a disco ball!!

That's an excellent idea Katie except for one problem. I have so many I would have to make about 40 disco balls or one disco ball the size of a small house. I did discover that there is a place in the city that will recycle them. I'll have to cross the city though to get there. Oh well. :)

crossing the city does soundd like an amazingly long wheeled adventure though, if the weather is nice!

Unfortunately there have been no rides since I screwed up my wrist and there won't be any more until the doctor takes a peek and tells me what I need to do to sort it out. It's actually become worse over the last week or so.

What did you do to your wrist?

You could sell the disco balls on eBay you know! Get out yer glue gun!

I landed on it after toppling over the handlebars about three weeks ago.
