I sold a few more ads and a few more cheques came in the door. Had a wee blowout with the lawyer in the next block. She would only advertise if she had exclusivity in the guide. Come on lady! I'm not the only coffee shop in the dang thing! Jeez. Way to promote community spirit. I sicced the Chamber prez on her, so hopefully she'll be by tomorrow with a big fat cheque for half a page.

We got most of our xmas shopping done last night and tonight have a lovely array of gifties on the bed in the spare bedroom. Not sure if the parcel will make it to Foster City in time (likely not) but I'm sure they'll have fun opening it.

Steve can't get the coonhound out of his head. I asked, "Who would name a coonhound Ingrid?" and he replied, "I'd rename it Harry". I said, "But it's a girl dog" and he replied, "Harriet". :)
